3.75” closed Schrade Walden electricians knife with carbon steel blades (liner lock on the screwdriver / wire stripper blade), rosewood hafts and old style nickel ‘bowtie’ shield. This marking of Schrade knives dates it to 1946 to 1973 manufacture but the style of grinding on blade and shield suggests earlier range of 46-73 manufacture.
Nice snaps with no wiggle open, shows wear and sharpening to main blade.
Founded in 1904 in Walden NY by the Schrade Bros (William, Jacob and George), in 1910 George left the firm to peruse his own manufacturing, all the brothers made innovations in automatic knives as well as producing quality folding knives.
