Forged stainless clad SG2 powder metal with migaki finished hammer marked tsuchime cladding and western style stabilized maple burl wood handle. SG2 takes a very fine edge easily for a stainless steel of its hardness (63/64) and holds it nicely.

These have a very distinctive octagonal shaped hammer head Nigara has made for the tsuchime hammer mark on this series, the quality for the grinds and finish is also excellent.
